Storytime Plan - Time

Preschool, pre-K, and Kindergarten teachers, are you struggling to come up with storytime activities for your class? Do you need to bring more variety into your circle time format?

This is a fun storytime plan with a time theme. All the activities, songs, and book recommendations tie into the various ways we measure time. This plan will give you plenty of activities to choose from and combines literacy, music and motor skills to help kids stay engaged.

This is designed for you to adapt to your own situation and needs. Use this plan as a storytime guide to select relevant stories, easy sing-along songs to share and pre-recorded songs for dancing and movement.

An extension motor activity is also suggested. We have provided printables for you to make cards for the sequencing motor activity.

This storytime plan was designed for preschool, PreK and Kindergarten kids in a classroom circle time setting, homeschool co-op or library storytime.
