Practice Your Age Incentive Challenge

Music teachers, are you looking for a fun and easy practice incentive for a single student or an entire studio to participate in?

Suitable for piano or any other instruments, this twelve-week challenge is a helpful way to motivate students to practice leading up to a performance or competition or to help instill consistent practice habits.

Here's how it works:

• Students set a timer for the number of minutes that equal their age, so a 7-year-old student sets their timer for 7 minutes.
• Each time their timer rings, they fill in a circle on their practice chart.

The practice chart has 12 lines of circles and each line represents 1 week. There are opportunities for three different rewards each week. The instructions suggest several different ideas for budget-friendly incentives.
